West Midlands automotive components group Wagon confirmed that it has decided to pull the plug on its stand-alone engineering consultancy services business in the UK. Warwick-based Wagon said the activities of the loss making business would either be sold, absorbed within its manufacturing operations or closed by the end of the financial year. The decision means Wagon has had to make a £2.2 million provision, which has been recorded as an exceptional charge.
