Wall to Wall might listen to takeover approaches
04/07/2006
Wall to Wall, the UK private TV producer, would listen to takeover offers when approached, chief executive officer and main owner Alex Graham said. The company had been approached in the past but no offer had been tempting enough to exit, he said. Graham said the company was at a point where all strategic options were given, including organic growth, making acquisitions, or exiting the business. The CEO described Wall to Wall as one out of few medium-sized UK production companies which were still independent. The company generates a turnover of about £20m. Wall to Wall is a producer of factual and drama TV programming. Its recent programming output includes celebrity-led genealogy format Who Do You Think You Are? and the drama series New Tricks, both screened on BBC1 and BBC2.
