Games publisher TT Games has been acquired by Warner Bros home entertainment division, for a undisclosed amount. The deal is subject to regulatory approval. 

TT Games, which was created in 2005 when one of the world's largest independent games developers, Travellers Tales, and publisher Giant Interactive Entertainment merged, is the business behind the LEGO Star Wars series. 

It also holds the vidoe game development and publishing rights to 'The Guinness World Records' book. 

Warner chairman and cheif executive Barry Meyer said that the acquisition marked the latest step in Warner's expansion into the games industry.
