Pub operator Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries could be up for sale amid rumours of a private equity approach. The bidder is reported to be preparing a £1.53bn offer for the business. The West Midlands-based company operates 2,351 pubs around the country, and latest results show an 13.2 per cent rise in annual profits.
