Scotland-based Italian businessman Gio Benedetti, has sold his Wrap Film Systems company to its management in a £21m buyout deal, according to reports. Private equity group Close Growth Capital provided financial backing for the management team. Proceeds from the sale will be used to pay down debt at Mr Benedetti's holding company, Benedetti Intrenational. Wrap Film sells cling film dispenser products to the retail and catering industries.
