XKO, the listed UK software solutions company, would consider selling at the right price, finance director William Good said in a telephone interview. 'If someone wants to buy us, [and offers] the right price, shareholders would accept,' he said, adding that a takeover is unlikely to be hostile. 'It would be friendly, if anything,' Good said. There would have to be 'some credence' in a potential offer, Good continued, adding that XKO may have niches that would be attractive to other companies, or the whole company may be of interest to a bidder.
