Swiss financial services company Zurich is to sell its UK annuities division according to reports, and is proving popular with potential buyers. First round offers are thought to have already been submitted to advisors Lehman Brothers, with Aviva, Prudential, Synesis and Aegon all tipped to be bidding. The business, worth £4bn, could also yet receive an offer from Goldman Sachs.
