Thu, 28 Feb 2008: Premier Foods, the UK-listed manufacturer of Hovis bread, may be forced to dispose of some of its assets or cut its dividend. Credit Suisse analyst Charlie Mills, commented that the business is on the brink of testing its banking covenants. Premier's pension-funding deficit could hit £800m, should tighter pension-accounting rules be brought in, Mr Mills added.
