AWG to postpone sale of Morrison Construction Comapny

AWG, the UK water group, is to hold off on deciding to sell its Morrison construction company until the end of 2006, according to the Daily Telegraph. AWG chief executive Jonson Cox wishes to give the new Morrison team a chance to turn the operation around and AWG would reconsider the situation at the end of next year. The report noted that AWG acquired the group five years back for £260m.
