Branson considering Borders

The British division of Borders, the book chain being sold by its American parent, has reportedly attracted interest of entrepreneur Richard Branson. A newspaper report said Branson had requested detailed data on the 70 UK shops from Merrill Lynch and is considering tabling an offer of £50m.
