SIAS Building Services, a mechanical and electrical contractor, has been placed into administration, and has made 136 workers redundant.
SIAS Building Services and holding company, SIAS Holdings, has been placed in the hands of Adrian Berry, Ian Brown and Neil Matthews of Deloitte, after the firm received numerous winding up orders.
The administrators aim to seek a buyer for the business, which has a turnover of £4m and is situated in Keighley, near Bradford.
The administrators have cited over expansion as the reason for the company's demise. Its high running costs, along with some contract problems, had an adverse impact on its cash flow.
SIAS was among 14 companies given an enforcement notice by the Information Commissioner's Office earlier this month for using a blacklist of construction workers.
SIAS had a turnover of £35m and had 178 employees across six sites, before it ceased to trade, according to reports. The administrators are undergoing talks with clients and main contractors to move outstanding contracts.
