The CEO of UK-listed electronics group Filtronic has announced that the group would be open to offers for its defence electronic and compound semi conductor businesses. The units are Filtronic's only remaining businesses after the company completed the sale of its wireless infrastructure business to Powerwave Technologies for $170.7m in June this year. Last month, we reported that the company's shareholders were pressurising for the sale of the businesses, which are estimated to report revenues this year of £25m and £32m respectively.
