Filtronic to sell Compound Semi conductor

Filtronic could sell its Compound Semiconductor operation once it reached profitability. For the six months ending November 2005, the Compound Semiconductor unit generated revenues of £3.6m. A year earlier, the division generated a turnover of £8.5m. Filtronic's market capitalisation stands at £125.22m.
