High-resolution display specialists Screen Technology Group plc and its division Screen Technology Limited have appointed administrators at McTear Williams and Wood.
The businesses specialise in high-resolution display systems for the digital advertising and signage markets.
The administrators were called into the company due to its cashflow difficulties experienced after a deal, which would have improved its profits, fell through.
The businesses are to be sold as going concerns.
Screen Technology was founded in 1996 using technology from Cambridge University. It created patent-protected technology, which assists in the construction of huge, high-resolution screens for the digital advertising and signage markets.
A total of £20m has been invested in the business since its inception.
