Business finance solution company Smartfundit.com Limited has been placed into administration. Michael Young and Peter Wastell of Vantis have been appointed as the joint administrators.
Its owner firm, Corporate Computer Lease Limited, has also been put into administration.
The administrators are to find a buyer for both businesses, which will continue to trade in the meantime.
Smartfundit.com is an online marketplace where businesses can buy or sell technology, or to provide finance and various finance packages.
Smartfundit.com's CEO Justin Floyd spoke earlier this year of its intention to make acquisitions, and was in the process of securing venture capital funding, according to reports.
The company's turnover rose from £2.4m in 2007 to £4.4m in 2008, according to its accounts.
