VCS (Wayzgoose) and VCS (Clearpoint), subsidiary companies to Visual Communications Solutions' (VCS), have both gone into administration. Administrator BDO Stoy Hayward has been hired to seek a buyer.
Commercial printer Wayzgoose and litho printer Clearpoint (which traded as Clearpoint Colourprint) have been struggling under increased competition.
The companies have also been affected by the worsening market conditions in the B1 sector.
The administrators have had to make the employees of both businesses redundant. The businesses are no longer trading.
Lincolnshire-based Wayzgoose makes a range of printed products including greetings cards, corporate literature, company reports, educational and promotional items. The business had a turnover of £4.6m and was established in 1976.
