NDI Trading Limited, a Stoke-on-Trent-based importer and wholesaler of freshwater fish and shellfish, fell into administration last month, with administrators now seeking a buyer for the business and/or its assets.
The company, which supplies customers across England and Wales, primarily in the Bangladeshi market, fell into administration following a dispute involving one of its investors.
In accounts for the year to October 31 2025, during which time it generated turnover of around £3.6 million, the company’s fixed assets were valued at around £262,000 and current assets at £1.2 million, while net assets totalled slightly over £31,000.

Unilabs Limited, a London-based medical laboratory working on cellular pathology and one stop cancer diagnosis, fell into administration last month, with David Pike and Shane Smith of Grant Thornton appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to December 31 2024, the company reported turnover of around £18.7 million, up from £17.3 million a year earlier, but saw operating losses widen from approximately £2.3 million to around £3.9 million.
At the time, its fixed assets were valued at £2.2 million and current assets at £6.8 million. Net liabilities, however, exceeded £3.6 million.
Accell UK & Ireland Limited - August 7
Accell UK & Ireland Limited, a Nottingham-based bicycle manufacturer trading as Raleigh, fell into administration last week, with Oliver Wright, Joanne Hewitt-Schembri and Shamil Malde of FTI Consulting appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to December 31 2023, while still trading as Raleigh UK Limited, the company reported a pre-tax loss of £30.1 million, compared to £6.8 million a year earlier. At the time, its non-current assets were valued at around £348,000 and current assets at approximately £1.1 million, with total assets amounting to £1.4 million.
Avtar Construction Limited - August 10
Avtar Construction Limited, a groundworks contractor based in Swindon, fell into administration last week, with Kelly Burton and Joseph Fox of FRP Advisory appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the period from March 1 2024 to August 31 2025, the company reported turnover of £33 million, up from around £19.6 million a year earlier, while operating profit increased from around £254,000 to slightly over £318,000.
At the time, its assets were valued at approximately £6.5 million, with net assets totalling around £749,000.
