Since our last update, the following businesses have been confirmed as having fallen into administration. All dates indicate when the administration was announced and not necessarily the dates on which administrators were appointed.

Mo-Sys Engineering Limited, an Essex-based manufacturer of photographic and cinematographic equipment, fell into administration earlier this month, with Bai Cham of BTG Begbies Traynor and Edwin Kirker of Kirker & Co appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to December 31 2024, the company’s fixed assets were valued at around £609,000 and current assets at approximately £4.2 million. However, net liabilities exceeded £33,000.
TLAM Limited - July 21
TLAM Limited, a Birmingham-based provider of tax and accounting services for law firms, fell into administration earlier this month, with Nicholas Stratten and Michelle Breslin of Greenfield Recovery appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to February 28 2025, the company’s assets were valued at around £1.4 million, with net assets totalling approximately £195,000.
R A W Clark LLP - July 21
R A W Clark LLP, a Northumberland-based solicitors trading as Melia Mumford, fell into administration earlier this month, with Shaun Hudson and Allan Kelly of FRP Advisory appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to March 31 2025, the firm reported turnover of £2.7 million, compared to £2.4 million in the period from May 1 2023 to March 31 2024, while operating profit moved from around £423,000 to approximately £564,000.
At the time, its fixed assets were valued at around £373,000 and current assets at slightly over £575,000, with net assets totalling close to £244,000.
Woodville Consultants Limited - July 21
Woodville Consultants Limited, a Pontypridd-based litigation funder, fell into administration earlier this month, with Robert Goodhew and Andrew Stoneman of Kroll Advisory appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to December 26 2024, the company reported turnover of £56 million, up from £39.4 million a year earlier, but operating profit dipped from around £4.8 million to £4.4 million.
At the time, the company’s fixed assets were valued at around £45,000 and current assets at £265.3 million, while net assets totalled £12.6 million.
Lanfine Limited - July 21
Lanfine Limited, an Ayrshire-based soft furnishings wholesaler trading as The Honesty Works, fell into administration earlier this month, following a period of mounting cost pressure.
The company, a longstanding wholesaler of soft furnishings, including curtains, cushions and other home furnishings, had been hit by pressures that reduced its margins and impacted profitability and cashflow, while it was also affected by supply-chains delays linked to unrest in the Middle East.
All employees were made redundant upon the appointment of administrators, who are now focused on realising value from the company’s remaining assets.
In accounts for the year ending January 31 2025, Lanfine Limited’s fixed assets were valued at slightly over £79,000 and current assets at £1.6 million. However, net liabilities at the time amounted to approximately £895,000.

Galino Limited, a Coatbridge-based engineering firm, fell into administration earlier this month, with David McGinniss and Judith Howson of AAB appointed as joint administrators.

In accounts for the year to September 30 2024, Orbit Discovery Group Limited’s fixed assets were valued at £5.2 million and current assets at around £6.7 million, with total equity standing at approximately £11.9 million.
In accounts for the year to September 30 2025, Orbit Discovery Limited’s fixed assets were valued at £8.2 million and current assets at around £1.2 million, with total equity amounting to roughly £74,000.
J.M. Gorry & Son Limited - July 22
J.M. Gorry & Son Limited, a family-run general haulage contractor based in Middlegate, Morecambe, fell into administration and ceased trading last week, with Alan Coleman and Nicola Baker of FTS Recovery appointed as joint administrators.

In accounts for the year to June 27 2025, the company’s fixed assets were valued at £2 million and current assets at £1.2 million, with net assets totalling approximately £1.6 million.
Superbike Factory Group Limited and Superbike Factory Limited - July 23
Superbike Factory Group Limited and Superbike Factory Limited, a Cheshire-based used motorcycle retailer, fell into administration and ceased trading last week after an accelerated sale process failed to secure a rescue deal.
The company operated six UK showrooms and an online sales platform, employing 273 staff, but had been hit by challenging trading conditions impacting the UK’s motorcycle retail sector.

Abbeyglen Properties (Castlemaine) Limited - July 24
Abbeyglen Properties (Castlemaine) Limited, a construction developer based in Coulsdon, fell into administration earlier this month, with Georgina Eason and James Snowdon of MHA appointed as joint administrators. The pair were also appointed joint administrators of micro-entity Abbeyglen (Canning Road) Limited.
In accounts for the year to October 31 2024, Abbeyglen Properties (Castlemaine) Limited’s fixed assets were valued at £953,000 and current assets at £1.4 million. However, net liabilities stood at £208,000.

In accounts for the year to February 29 2024, the company reported turnover of approximately £23.4 million, up from around £9 million a year earlier, but fell from an operating profit of around £43,000 to a loss of approximately £3.4 million.
Directors said that the business had experienced a number of project delays during the year, particularly in the US, which contributed to lower margins and increased costs, subsequently leading to a loss.
At the time, its fixed assets were valued at £1.1 million and current assets at around £8.5 million, with total equity amounting to £1.2 million.
