In accounts for the year to July 31 2024, the company’s fixed assets were valued at around £950,000 and current assets at approximately £652,000. However, its net liabilities at the time stood at £1.8 million.
Abbotsholme School Limited - July 28
Abbotsholme School Limited, a co-educational independent day and boarding school in Uttoxeter, fell into administration last month, with Keeley Lord and Craig Johns of Cowgills appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to August 31 2024, the company’s fixed assets were valued at £3.6 million and current assets at slightly over £672,000. Net liabilities, however, stood at £1.5 million.
Muscle Foods Limited - July 28
Muscle Foods Limited, an online food retailer headquartered in Nottingham, fell into administration last month, with Stuart Kelly and Claire Harsley of Mackay Goodwin appointed as joint administrators.
In the period from June 30 2024 to July 31 2025, the company reported turnover of £22.9 million, down from £30.7 million in its previous results, but recovered from an operating loss of around £5.8 million to post a profit of approximately £1.5 million.
At the time, its fixed assets were valued at around £418,000 and current assets at approximately £1.6 million, while net liabilities totalled slightly over £733,000.
E5 Living (WJP) Limited - July 29
E5 Living (WJP) Limited, a residential construction developer based in Ullenhall, fell into administration last month, with Paul Allen and David Hudson of FRP Advisory appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to December 31 2024, the company’s current assets were valued at around £10.5 million, but net liabilities amounted to approximately £1.5 million.
Creation Wholesale Limited - July 30
Creation Wholesale Limited, a Cannock-based wholesaler of horticultural products, fell into administration last month, with Lee Morris and John Thompson of Marshall Peters appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to July 30 2025, the company’s assets were valued at slightly over £2.8 million, with total equity of £1.5 million.
Focus Label Machinery Limited - July 30
Focus Label Machinery Limited, a Nottingham-based manufacturer of print and finishing machinery and ancillaries, fell into administration last week after experiencing cashflow pressures due to multiple external factors.
Following the appointment of administrators, the company has now ceased trading with a buyer being sought for the business and its assets, which include a freehold property, plant and machinery, work in progress and IP/goodwill.

Torsion Construction Limited - July 30
Torsion Construction Limited, a Leeds-based construction contractor, fell into administration last week, with James Clark and Howard Smith of Interpath Advisory appointed as joint administrators.
The company, which has now ceased trading, had experienced liquidity pressures linked to delayed capital events, rising input costs and contract margin pressure, as well as a wider market downturn.
Other businesses within the wider Torsion group, including Torsion Care, Torsion Projects, Torsion Homes, Torsion Developments, are not affected and continue to operate as normal.
In the year to June 30 2025, Torsion Construction Limited reported turnover of around £165.4 million, up from £117.2 million a year earlier, while operating profit increased from £619,000 to approximately £1.1 million.
At the time, its fixed assets were valued at £162,000 and current assets at £75.5 million, with total equity amounting to £2.7 million.

Nationwide Hire Limited, a Fareham-based provider of equipment hire and waste brokerage services, fell into administration last week, with Mark Thornton and Kiri Holland of BDO appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to September 30 2024, the company reported turnover of close to £11.1 million, down from £12.5 million a year earlier, while operating losses widened from £226,000 to £1.1 million.
At the time, its fixed assets were valued at around £492,000 and current assets at approximately £6.6 million, with total equity standing at roughly £3.9 million.
