North West-based Microsoft Solution Partner mhance has secured a new funding package from Shawbrook to support its growth strategy. The funding package includes a committed acquisition facility to support M&A.
mhance provides Microsoft services, including Dynamics 365 CRM/ERP delivery and data services spanning cloud analytics, integrations, and cloud migrations. The company, which is backed by SilverTree Equity and has been operating for more than 20 years, serves a base of not-for-profit, commercial and public customers across the UK and Ireland.
The new financing from Shawbrook will enable the firm to accelerate its multi-vertical expansion, pursue targeted M&A deals to broaden its market reach and service offering and enable it to further invest in capabilities ranging from Dynamics, Azure and Power Platform, to data and AI.
The funding package has a tailored structure, comprising a unitranche facility for immediate draw, a committed acquisition facility to support M&A deals and a revolving credit facility (RCF). This will help to ensure scalable capital aligned to the company’s growth plans.
Alan Moody, chief executive at mhance, said: "Shawbrook’s deep understanding of our industry and their ability to structure a truly flexible funding package made them the clear choice for supporting our growth ambitions alongside SilverTree.”
SilverTree Equity, a sector-specialist investor in software and tech-enabled services, sponsored the transaction. SilverTree’s Nicholas Theuerkauf said the partnership with Shawbrook would provide mhance “with the flexible capital and strategic backing needed to accelerate their ambitious growth plans."
Shawbrook director Ciaran Flanagan said that mhance had “consistently demonstrated exceptional resilience, innovation, and a focus on delivering value for its clients.” He added that the partnership with SilverTree on the funding deals demonstrated Shawbrook’s “ongoing commitment to nurturing growth in the technology sector."
