£33m-turnover window manufacturer acquired in £60m deal

Victorian House Window Group, a window manufacturer known for brands including Victorian Sliders and ECOSlide, has been acquired by European group Inwido in a deal valued at £60 million. The group, which trades as Victorian Sliders, is the UK’s largest manufacturer and supplier of uPVC sliding sash windows. The group is reported to generate sales of approximately £33 million.

The Ammanford-headquartered company is entering its 20th year of trading in the window industry. It operates depots and sales locations throughout the UK and Ireland and also has a hardware manufacturing facility in Foshan, China.

Victoria House Window Group’s headquarters is a vertically integrated facility that recycles 30 per cent of its PVC material on-site, with the group committed to the circular economy. The factory produces more than 1,750 windows per week, with all manufacturing processes housed on-site.

European window group Inwido has now acquired 100 per cent of shares in Victorian House Window Group Limited for a purchase sum of £60 million on a cash- and debt-free basis. The shares have been acquired from majority shareholder BGF, as well as other shareholders.

In Victorian House Window Group Limited’s most recent accounts at Companies House, for the year to December 31 2024, it reported turnover of £30.7 million, down from £31.4 million a year earlier, but slightly increased its operating profit from just under £3 million to £3.1 million.

The UK’s sash window market is anticipated to achieve strong growth over the coming years as a result of pent-up demand and the relaxation of planning restrictions, which will enable uPVC windows to replace timber windows. Victorian Sliders is well-positioned to take advantage of this, as well as to enter new market segments and further geographies.
