Accountancy firm bk plus has added offices in Cardiff and Barry with its latest acquisition. The acquisition of Accounted For further extends bk plus’ presence in Wales, as well as increasing its wider UK network, which spans more than 50 offices and 900 employees.
The deal will see Accounted For, which is led by Business Director Lee Eustace and Operations Director Leanne Eustace, continue to serve its existing client base from its current offices.
Shaun Knight, Chief Executive of bk plus, said that Wales had long been an important location for the group and described the addition of Accounted For as “a natural next step for us in a market we know well.”
He continued: "What we've built across Wales already shows that our model works here. Clients want to deal with people who understand their local area, and that's exactly what our offices deliver.”
“Bringing Accounted For into the group adds real depth in South Wales. Cardiff and Barry are busy, commercially active areas, and having a team with Lee and Leanne's experience and the client relationships they've established puts us in a strong position to support businesses across that part of the country.”
Addressing Accounted For’s clients, Knight added that they would continue to deal with the same team and receive the same level of service, but would now benefit from a more wide-ranging offering.
Accounted For Business Director Lee Eustace said that joining bk plus was the right move for the team and the company’s clients, with the deal offering the firm “the opportunity to do more.”
He continued: "Our clients have growing businesses with evolving needs, and being part of a national firm means we can now bring in specialist support on areas like tax planning, corporate finance or restructuring when the situation calls for it, without losing the close working relationship that's always defined how we operate.”
