Building maintenance and improvement provider Cardo Group has expanded its fire safety business with the acquisition of a Cardiff-based fire protection specialist. The acquisition of R. Lewis & Co Limited further strengthens the group’s fire protection and compliance capabilities and broadens its services offering across Wales and the wider UK.
R. Lewis & Co, which was founded in 1997, provides a full range of passive fire protection services, including fire stopping, structural surveys, fire doors, fire engineering, intumescent coatings and specialist coatings, helping to ensure clients are fully compliant and have optimal fire protection.
The firm is independently accredited by the BRE Loss Prevention Certification Board and its teams are trained by leading manufacturers to ensure work is carried out safely and to the highest standards.
