Links Lodge Dental Practice, an eight-surgery dental practice in Montrose, has been sold, after its longstanding owners decided to retire from practice ownership.
Located on John Street, Links Lodge Dental Practice operates from a 140-year-old former merchant’s house. The practice comprises eight fully-equipped surgeries and serves an estimated 13,400 patients.
Since 1999, the practice has been owned by Dr Iain Campbell and Dr David Gibb, who acquired it after it was brought to market in 1998. Under their ownership, Links Lodge Dental has expanded from five surgeries to eight, while benefitting from significant investment in its facilities, patient services and technology.
Dr Campbell and Dr Gibb decided to retire from practice ownership, although continuing to work post-sale in a clinical capacity, leading to Links Lodge Dental being brought to market.
Joel Mannix at Christie & Co ran a confidential sale process for the business, which has now been acquired by multi-site operator Dr Naga Narra, with the deal representing his fourth practice acquisition.
Former owners Dr Campbell and Dr Gibb said: "We acquired Links Lodge Dental Practice in 1999 and have spent the last 25 years growing and investing in the business, expanding the premises, modernising facilities, and building a strong team to support an ever-growing patient base.”
"Following a rewarding and successful period of ownership, we feel the time is right to pass the practice on to new owners who can build on the strong foundations we have created. The business’ new owner, Dr Narra, said he was attracted to the practice due to “its excellent reputation, loyal patient base, strong community presence, and clear potential for future growth.”
He continued: "My aim is to build on the solid foundations already in place by maintaining the high standard of care, enhancing the patient experience, and expanding treatment options for local patients through the introduction of services such as dental implants, orthodontics, and facial aesthetics."
Joel Mannix, director - Dental at Christie & Co, said that the sale highlighted continuing demand for “high-quality dental practices in attractive regional locations”, calling Links Lodge Dental “a well-established and highly regarded practice in Scotland, with a strong reputation for patient care and an excellent platform for future growth.”
Mannix added that Dr Narra “has an exciting vision for the practice and is well placed to build on its success.”
