Leeds-based digital transformation and IT services company WhiteSpider has been acquired by Aureos, a multi-disciplinary engineering services provider to the energy and transport networks sectors.
Post-acquisition, WhiteSpider's existing customers and partners will continue to work with the same teams while gaining access to additional resources.
Founded in 2012, WhiteSpider provides services spanning enterprise networking, artificial intelligence, cyber security and cloud technologies, helping organisations design, modernise and operate secure, resilient IT infrastructure.
Aureos has worked with critical infrastructure owners and operators across the UK since 2009, covering assets including renewable energy, power networks, railways and highways. Its transformation projects include work for SSEN, Network Rail, HS2, Scottish Power and National Highways.
The deal combines Aureos' critical national infrastructure expertise with WhiteSpider's specialist IT infrastructure capabilities.
