Waste management services provider Enovert has acquired a long-established specialist vehicle services operator and waste recycling provider based in Bristol. Enovert’s acquisition of PMG Group SW Limited drives the continued expansion of the group’s specialist waste treatment and disposal offering.
Established in the 1990s, PMG operates from a recently constructed premises at Church Lane, Severn Beach. The site is home to the company’s bespoke recycling facility, incorporating specialist separation and dewatering technology.
The permitted treatment facility, which was constructed last year, is designed to treat gully and liquid wastes and road sweepings, which are then used to produce recycled aggregates, supporting the UK’s circular economy.
In addition, the company also operates one of the street and industrial cleansing sector’s most advanced and extensive road sweeper fleets. The firm provides services to the construction and quarrying industries across the South West, as well as local authorities and domestic and commercial industrial customers.
Clare McGuiness, MD of PMG SW Ltd, said that joining Enovert would generate “significant growth opportunities” for the company.

The acquisition follows a number of acquisitions by Enovert, including gas engine specialists ABC Power Solutions, and North East based landfill and waste treatment operator Highfield Environmental Limited.
KPMG advised on the acquisition, with John Levis, managing director at KPMG Corporate Finance, saying the deal “further reinforces the buoyant M&A landscape in the UK Waste & Recycling sector, driven by compelling themes of resource recovery, the circular economy, and evolving regulation."
