Focus Group has announced the acquisition of Prime Networks, a London-headquartered IT managed service provider (MSP) with offices in Bournemouth, Tamworth and Tewkesbury.
The combination of the two firms will provide Prime Networks’ customers with access to the wider AI, automation and IT solutions offered by Focus Group, which are backed by a network of local, specialist support.
Prime Networks supports around 500 SME customers, providing IT support, security and managed services via the Halo PSA platform.
The deal is described as creating a combined group with a strong position from which to support UK SMEs with a broader range of connected, secure and managed solutions.
Focus Group is undertaking ongoing investment in AI, automation and IT, helping it to strengthen its customer experience portfolio and offer stronger AI, communications, IT, connectivity, cybersecurity and energy services.
Neil Hall, Focus Group CEO, said the addition of Prime Networks would assist the group in its mission of helping more SMEs to confidently use AI, rather than adopting it for its own sake, adding that the deal would enable the group to provide even more businesses with access to reliable specialist support.
