Crossley & Davis, an independent chartered accountancy practice on the Fylde Coast, has been acquired by nationwide accountancy and advisory services firm Xeinadin.
Founded in 1982, Crossley & Davis has expanded from a local practice into a four-partner firm that supports businesses across the North West and London. The company specialises in audit, tax, tax planning, corporate finance and M&A and serves a broad range of SMEs.
According to Xeinadin, the firm is known for its hands-on approach and a client base built through referrals and longstanding relationships. The company has decades-long relationships with a number of clients, which Xeinadin says reflects its “consistent focus on being accessible, responsive, and closely involved in the day-to-day running of their businesses.”
Post-acquisition, Crossley & Davis’ clients will continue to be served by the same team, while the firm will benefit from access to additional resources, wider technical support and enhanced development opportunities as part of Xeinadin.
The team will continue to support a broad SME client base across Blackpool, the North West and London, bolstered by Xeinadin’s wider expertise and technical input, while maintaining the close-knit culture that it has built over many years.
Derry Crowley, CEO at Xeinadin, commented: “Crossley & Davis has built its reputation through consistent, hands-on work and long-standing client relationships. Their experience across a wide range of services, strengthens Xeinadin’s ability to support SMEs and businesses across the UK with joined-up advice.”
Peter Riley, Partner at Crossley & Davis, added: “We’ve always focused on doing the work properly and being there for clients when they need us. That’s how we’ve built long-standing relationships over the years. As our clients’ needs become more complex, having access to wider expertise allows us to support clients through those decisions, while keeping the same level of personal service and day-to-day accounting.”
