Graham + Sibbald, one of the UK’s leading firms of chartered surveyors and property consultants, has expanded with the acquisition of specialist leisure sector property consultancy Fleurets.
The acquisition brings more than two centuries of expertise in hotels, pubs, restaurants, nightclubs and leisure assets into the group, along with Fleurets’ team of leisure specialists including agents and surveyors across England and Wales.
The deal enhances Graham + Sibbald’s growing UK-wide leisure property offering, with the combined business able to better serve specialist hospitality and leisure markets across the UK.
Post-acquisition, the two companies will continue to trade as separate entities for an initial period, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and clients, before fully integrating under the Graham + Sibbald brand.
The deal adds to a combined business consisting of more than 400 employees operating from 25 locations and follows an equity investment into Graham + Sibbald from global investment manager Foresight Group in Q3 2025.
Foresight Group has supported a number of recent Graham + Sibbald acquisitions, including the purchases of JMP Construction and Property Consultants, along with sister company SID Asset Management, earlier this year, and the takeover of Aitchison Raffety in September 2025.
Les McAndrew, CEO at Graham + Sibbald (pictured above, right with Fleurets Managing Director Paul Hardwick), said: “Fleurets brings with it an invaluable 200-year history of expertise, trust and solid relationships in a key growth sector for our business. While Graham + Sibbald has an established presence in hospitality and leisure, our combined offer will enhance this with more specialist consultants in key locations across England.”
McAndrew added: “This acquisition is the third in an unprecedented period of growth for Graham + Sibbald. We continue to invest in our strengths while expanding our coverage across the UK – but especially in England. In the past ten months, we have added new service lines, technical expertise and specialist sector knowledge while enhancing our local presence, which has already provided additional value for our clients.”
Fleurets Managing Director Paul Hardwick said that the two companies shared aligned cultures and that the firm’s board saw “huge opportunity for significant growth in the hotel and leisure sectors and the combined strength of the two companies and the additional service lines that we can offer our clients will be invaluable.”
Hardwick added joining Graham + Sibbald would “greatly benefit” Fleurets' clients and people, while enabling both companies to accelerate their growth strategies.
When undertaking an M&A-driven growth plan, integration is the most important phase of dealmaking
