130-strong legal practice NBB Law has expanded with the acquisition of Waldrons Solicitors, a longstanding firm that operates across the West Midlands, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
Waldrons Solicitors dates back to 1867, when it started as a small firm in Brierley Hill. Since then, it has grown into a company with multiple offices, with NBB Law Managing Director Rob Bhol and senior partner Paul Nicholls saying the acquisition of Waldrons was a “defining moment” for their company.
They continued: “The acquisition of Waldrons Solicitors not only brings together two firms with highly complementary strengths but it also marks our commitment to bringing legal services of the highest standards to local communities with a focus on agility, collaboration, and excellence.”
"Our commitment is to preserve what makes the firm distinctive, to honour the trust of its clients, and to ensure that its reputation for excellence continues to grow long into the future."
The acquisition is said to reflect NBB Law’s strategic aim of building a national legal practice. Currently, the firm has over 130 staff, including 70 lawyers, working across eight combined office locations in England, with a combined income of £8.5 million.
Waldrons Solicitors Managing Director Joseph Norton said that the deal would open up “new horizons” for the firm’s clients and staff.
Norton continued: "This new chapter honours the legacy of our late managing director, John Roberts, whose visionary leadership for over 30 years shaped the foundation of the firm.”
"The transition will bring both stability and opportunity for our people, and will also reassure our clients that the people they know and trust will remain in place.”
"As our brand and business continues to evolve, the heritage and values of both firms will remain."
Despite widespread M&A opportunities in the legal sector, many small and medium-sized law firms remain hesitant to target acquisitive growth
This London-based legal advisory practice presents a highly profitable opportunity for acquisition, with a strong track record and an established client base.
Nestled in County Tyrone, this law firm offers a unique opportunity with its highly profitable practice and well-established reputation.
An established law firm in Leeds, excelling in civil litigation and conveyancing, is available for sale. The firm boasts steady growth and a strong local client base, making it a promising opportunity for expansion.
