Lancashire-headquartered environmental and critical infrastructure provider LCM Environmental Group has strengthened a number of its core capabilities with the acquisitions of three companies.
The group has added Octane Holding Group and Octane Draincare (together forming Octane), Environmental Construction Services and Petro Systems Management, in moves that it says will boost its presence across the UK and Ireland.
Through the deals, the group strengthens its capabilities in key areas including drainage, construction, fuel infrastructure and environmental services, providing clients with access to a broader range of specialist solutions.
Bradford-based Octane bolsters LCM’s offering in drainage and related environmental services, as well as bringing “established client relationships and practical delivery experience into the group”.
West Midlands-based Environmental Construction Services brings in expertise in the provision of civil, mechanical and electrical services to the construction industry.
Petro Systems Management, which is based in County Cork, supplies, services and installs fuel pumps, tank gauging and fuel management systems, serving operators across the forecourt, oil depot and haulage sectors.
Commenting on the acquisitions, Richard Wallace, LCM Environmental Group CEO, said that all three acquisitions bring their own strengths into the group, but have a “common thread” of “good people, strong client relationships and a reputation built through consistent delivery.”
Wallace continued: “These acquisitions are an important part of our growth as a group. They give us greater depth across drainage, construction, environmental services and specialist infrastructure support, while allowing us to build on relationships that are already well established.”
“Our focus now is on supporting the teams, protecting what has made each business successful, and creating new opportunities for our people and our clients as we move forward together.”
Working with organisations that operate critical and regulated sites, LCM Environmental supports drainage, tanks, fuel systems, construction works, maintenance, testing, environmental controls and compliance-led services.
