CPR Recruitment, a Maidstone-headquartered recruitment firm, has launched a new division following a significant acquisition. CPR Recruitment has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Xenon Recruitment Group to form CPXR, a dedicated new division focused on permanent recruitment.
CPXR will combine CPR Recruitment’s strong industry reputation and network with Xenon Recruitment Group’s established specialism in permanent placements, particularly in the construction and built environment markets.
According to CPR, Xenon’s board of directors includes qualified quantity surveyors with more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, bringing a high level of sector knowledge and experience providing placements from technical and managerial appointments to board-level director hires.
CPR Recruitment co-founder and Managing Director Tim Sutton said that Xenon had built “an exceptional reputation in permanent recruitment across construction and the built environment, and the fit with our own values and way of working is clear.”
Sutton added that the combination of the two firms under the CPXR brand would enable the business to offer both clients and candidates “a stronger, more complete service.”
David Abbott, founder of Xenon Recruitment Group, said: "Joining forces with CPR Recruitment is far more than a business decision. CPR's values, integrity and a people-first approach mirrors everything we've built at Xenon.”
Abbott added that the combination of the two businesses would create opportunities for growth, development and career progression, whilst also maintaining the culture and values of both companies.
CPR Recruitment said that the formation of CPXR was a natural evolution for the firm, building on its recent rebrand and new website, while reinforcing its end-to-end recruitment offering and ensuring clients have access to best-in-class permanent recruitment solutions.
