entrustIT, a managed IT services company based in Hampshire, is targeting national growth after acquiring Bedford-based DWM Technical Solutions. The deal forms part of Ringwood-headquartered entrustIT’s ongoing national expansion strategy, through which it is seeking to build a strong presence in every major region of the UK.
The deal, which was completed for an undisclosed sum, provides entrustIT with a physical base in Bedford, strengthening the company’s coverage in an area in which it already supports numerous nationwide clients.
As well as extending its regional coverage, the acquisition of DWM Technical Solutions, an IP solutions integrator, brings in new capabilities in small works electrical, AV and smart building solutions, areas increasingly linked to IT infrastructure and managed services.
Post-acquisition, DWM Technical Solutions will continue to operate under its current brand for the time being, in order to ensure continuity for clients and staff.

According to entrustIT, the acquisition reinforces its standing as one of the UK’s leading mid-market MSPs. The company, which was established in 2006, has several locations across the UK.
The firm provides IT support, consultancy and managed cloud, connectivity and security services to multi-site, scaling organisations across sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, professional services and retail.
