Novem, a Manchester-based managed IT, cyber resilience and telecoms provider, has completed its fourth acquisition with a deal for managed IT services provider Reach IT. The acquisition, completed for an undisclosed sum, sees the group continue to build scale and capability across its national business.
Novem’s growth strategy combines targeted acquisitions with organic expansion, with the firm seeking to strengthen its regional service delivery, while creating long-term value for SME clients across the UK.
Founded in 2016, Warwickshire-based Reach IT provides managed IT services, including cloud and remote-work infrastructure, cybersecurity covering device, data and cloud, and proactive device monitoring.
The acquisition and integration of Reach IT will enable Novem to extend its reach and service offering, while building a larger team of engineers and specialists to provide clients with comprehensive IT and technology solutions.
Paul O’Dell, co-founder and director of Reach IT, said that the deal meant the two companies would be bringing together “complementary skills, experience and culture”, helping to deliver greater value to customers.
He continued: “It’s a move that allows us to operate at greater scale with increased depth of expertise, strengthening our team, our capabilities and the service experience we offer to our clients.”

Novem completed its first acquisition in 2023, working alongside Independence Capital and UK private credit investor TDC. Since then, the firm has continued to use M&A to expand its regional footprint, while investing in skills, infrastructure and job creation.
TDC Investment Director Jon Petty said that the acquisition of Reach IT “marks another strong step in Novem’s expansion across the UK, with the IT managed services sector continuing to show strong potential and growth.
