An occupational services provider backed by private equity firm NorthEdge has expanded with the acquisition of an occupational hygiene provider. Latus Group’s acquisition of Euro Environmental is the group’s fourth acquisition overall since NorthEdge’s initial investment in July 2024.
Based in Doncaster, Euro Environmental provides services including workplace exposure monitoring, indoor air quality testing and noise assessments, along with a range of related compliance services, for organisations across the UK.
The acquisition enables Hull-based Latus Group to continue the growth of its Hygiene division, which has consistently recorded year-on-year growth of 50 per cent. In addition to occupational hygiene, Latus Group offers occupational services including occupational health, health surveillance and wellbeing.
Latus Group Chief Executive Jack Latus described the group’s latest acquisition as “another important milestone in our mission to modernise workplace healthcare and improve employee health outcomes across the UK.”
Latus said that NorthEdge’s continued support was enabling the group to “accelerate growth across our platform and strengthen our ability to meet rising customer demand.”
He added: "Occupational hygiene is a strategic growth area for us. Like Latus, Euro Environmental Limited has a strong reputation for expertise, quality and service. By bringing our businesses together, we're able to provide our clients with market-leading end-to-end workplace health solutions and service the increasing demand for Latus Hygiene services nationally."

Since securing backing from NorthEdge a little over 18 months ago, Latus’ acquisitions include occupational health, health surveillance and occupational hygiene provider Peritus Health Management and occupational health services firm OH Services, while the group has also launched proprietary health platform Yodha.
