A lettings agency based on the South Coast has been acquired by an independent property agency with a strong presence across West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire. Henry Adams’ acquisition of Coastguards Lettings, based in Aldwick, near Bognor Regis, further bolsters the firm’s presence on the South Coast.
Coastguards Lettings is a single-office lettings business that has served the Aldwick area for many years, developing a strong reputation for its local knowledge and personal service-focused approach to landlords and tenants.
The acquisition, which was completed on October 31 2025, sees the company’s portfolio join Henry Adams’ established lettings operation in Bognor Regis. No redundancies have been made as a result of the transition.
Henry Adams opened its first office in Chichester in 1991 and has since spread through West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire, building a strong offering across lettings, property management, residential sales and professional property consultancy services
The acquisition of Coastguards Lettings into Henry Adams’ already strong lettings operation in Bognor Regis and Aldwick represents another step in the expansion of the firm’s lettings network, as well as bolstering its coverage on the West Sussex coast.
Henry Adams has said it is continuing to seek further acquisitions to fuel its growth and expansion and has encouraged parties interested in a potential business sale, joint venture or franchise opportunity to contact CEO Ian Wiggett.
