Cullum Group has strengthened its capabilities in the water and industrial sectors with the acquisition of a specialist pipeline contractor that works on projects across the UK. Thermofuse Pipelines provides fabrication, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of pipeline systems for gas, water and fire protection projects.
The Doncaster-based company, which was founded in 1995 and employs around 45 staff, supports UK infrastructure projects across every major building sector.
Derbyshire-based Cullum Group is an engineering business with operations across the UK and US and comprises six subsidiaries. The acquisition of Thermofuse was advised by KBS Corporate deal executive Charlie Neville, with legal work by Mackrell LLP.
Following the purchase of Thermofuse, the group is continuing to pursue acquisitions as part of its wider growth strategy.
