OryxAlign, a specialist provider of mission-critical network design, build and managed IT services, is set to target M&A after entering a strategic partnership with Palatine Private Equity.
Founded in 2006, OryxAlign has UK offices in London and Manchester and operates globally, with a total headcount of approximately 130 staff. The company is one of just a few scaled technology specialists operating across critical infrastructure services markets.
In the year to March 31 2025, Oryx Align Limited reported turnover of approximately £20.4 million, up from £17.5 million a year earlier, while operating profit increased from around £1.5 million to £2.3 million.
The investment in OryxAlign is the second deal from Palatine’s £254 million Buyout Fund V - the investor’s biggest ever fund - as well as its third key tech services investment over the past 12 months, following 2025 deals with Atombit Group and Fulfilmentcrowd.
The partnership with Palatine will support OryxAlign as the company enters its next phase of growth, through which it is seeking to expand via a combination of targeted strategic M&A and organic expansion, underpinned by investment in its systems, technology and people.
OryxAlign CEO and founder Carl Henriksen said: “This is a real partnership, not just an investment, and that distinction matters to me and the whole team. Palatine brings more than capital. They bring expertise, a collaborative approach, deep sector knowledge, and a shared belief that how you do business is just as important as what you achieve.”
"Together, we will be better positioned to extend our presence across the critical infrastructure sectors where we operate, bringing more capability and reach to the clients who depend on us. And critically, this creates further career opportunities for our people to grow, to develop, and to take on bigger roles as we scale."
OryxAlign and Palatine are both certified B Corporations, with this shared status identified as one of the key factors in the firm selecting the sustainability-driven investor as a partner. Palatine Investment Director Danielle Garland, meanwhile, said that OryxAlign's B Corp certification was “a genuine differentiator”.
Garland described OryxAlign as “already a stand-out player in its market place led by an ambitious and talented CEO and leadership team”, saying the partnership would help to drive accelerated growth going forward.
She continued: "The critical infrastructure sector with the data centre sector as a core component is one of the most exciting growth verticals in tech services and OryxAlign's end-to-end capability — from network design and build through to managed services — gives it a compelling and differentiated position."
Garland added that the partnership reflects Palatine’s “strong track record in scaling technology and managed services businesses” and that the firm’s experience with businesses such as Acora and FourNet provided “a deep understanding of what it takes to build market-leading platforms in this space”.
