Automotive technology specialist TekCor4 has completed its first acquisition since securing new private equity backing, marking a significant step in the company’s long-term buy-and-build strategy.
The Surrey-based firm, founded in 2023, recently received investment from US-based FM Capital, providing the financial platform to accelerate its expansion plans. Its first move under the new ownership structure is the purchase of Marketing Delivery, a Kent-headquartered business known for its AI-driven customer engagement tools used widely across the UK automotive retail sector.
Marketing Delivery’s flagship VoiceBox system supports dealerships with personalised email, SMS and social media campaigns, helping more than 500 retailers enhance customer retention and improve aftersales performance. TekCor4, meanwhile, operates a predictive intelligence platform that analyses aftersales data to help dealers anticipate customer needs and drive workshop revenue.
By bringing the two businesses together, TekCor4 aims to create an integrated data and communications offering that supports the entire customer lifecycle. The combined platform will enable dealers to move from insight to action more effectively, using predictive analytics to trigger targeted, automated communications in real time.
TekCor4 chief executive Alex Rimmer said the acquisition strengthens the company’s position in the automotive technology market and accelerates its ambition to become a leading provider of data-led solutions to UK retailers. He added that integrating Marketing Delivery’s communications expertise with TekCor4’s analytical capabilities would give clients a more complete toolset to support customer retention and aftersales growth.
Advisors involved in the transaction said the deal represents a major milestone for TekCor4, giving the business a strong foundation for further acquisitions and enhancing its ability to scale rapidly. They highlighted the strategic fit between the two companies and the growing demand for AI-enhanced customer engagement technology within the automotive retail sector.
Marketing Delivery, founded in 2007, will continue to operate as part of the enlarged group, with its team joining TekCor4 to support the next phase of growth and product development.
