Turley Legal expands with acquisition of historic law practice

Coleraine-based Turley Legal has expanded with the acquisition of Martin King French & Ingram, one of the oldest law practices in Ireland, with roots dating back to the 18th century.

The acquisition provides Turley Legal with an entry into Limavady, significantly bolstering its presence in the North West and complementing its existing locations in Coleraine and Belfast.

The deal also broadens its service offering, strengthening the firm’s ability to support clients across private client, residential property and personal legal matters, adding to its established corporate and commercial expertise.

Turley Legal has outlined plans for ongoing investment in systems, processes and client experience as part of the post-deal transition, ensuring Martin King French & Ingram is positioned for the future while retaining the firm’s longstanding personal relationships.

The combination of the two businesses takes total staff headcount to 21, spanning the existing Limavady team of solicitors and support staff, as well as eight solicitors operating from the Coleraine office. The combined business represents one of the largest locally owned legal practices across the wider North West region.
