Primary Water Solutions, a water hygiene and Legionella risk consultancy based in Gloucester, has been acquired by London-based testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) provider Celnor Group. The deal will see Primary Water Solutions join Celnor’s Safety & Compliance division.
Founded in 2011, Primary Water Solutions is an independent consultancy specialising in water and air hygiene. The firm has a strong focus on the management of risks associated with airborne pathogens, such as Legionella.
The company’s services include risk assessments, monitoring programmes and tailored training to help organisations meet legal and safety obligations. Its clients range from the NHS, schools, colleges and local authorities to private sector businesses of all sizes.
As an independent consultancy, Primary Water Solutions aims to provide an unbiased approach based purely on what is necessary for clients to ensure compliance and safety. The company offers clients a full understanding of risks within their buildings, combined with straightforward, actionable plans.
Michael Dent, Managing Director at Primary Water Solutions, commented: “As an independent consultancy, we have always focused on providing clear, practical, and unbiased advice to help our clients manage the risks associated with water and air hygiene.”
“Becoming part of the Celnor group allows us to strengthen that commitment, while giving our clients access to an even wider range of compliance expertise and support. We look forward to working alongside our new colleagues to deliver the highest standards of safety and assurance across the UK.”
Celnor CEO and founder Simon Parrington said that Primary Water Solutions’ “independence, technical expertise, and strong reputation in water and air hygiene make them an excellent fit for our Safety and Compliance division.”
