A logistics firm based in Ford, West Sussex has been acquired by a local counterpart. R.T. Page & Sons has joined 4PL, a family-run specialist that is also based in Ford in a deal advised on by Brighton-based SRC Corporate Finance.
Based on a 5.5-acre headquarters in Ford, R.T. Page & Sons provides services including transport, handling, logistics and storage, with the company’s site also including more than 80,000 sq ft of warehouse space.
Founded in 2012, 4PL Limited is a specialist provider of order fulfilment, supplier deliveries and customer returns services. 4PL founder and Chair Rob Burton said that the acquisition of R.T. Page & Sons marked “an exciting new chapter for both companies.”
He continued: "We believe there is great synergy between the two businesses, and this acquisition represents a strong strategic fit that will support the continued growth and success of both organisations.”

Burton added that the acquisition of R.T. Page & Sons underscored 4PL’s “commitment to growth and partnership as we continue to build a stronger, more dynamic future together."
In addition to support from SRC Corporate Finance, R.T. Page & Sons were also advised by Lewis Brownlee and Acumen Law, with legal advice from Alvin Ittoo and property advice from Donna Spence.
