A multilingual day nursery in South West London has been acquired by a first-time buyer. Casa Montessori is a well-respected provider of high-quality early years education, located in Richmond, South West London.
The multilingual day nursery and pre-school specialises in French, English, Spanish and Italian. The nursery has the capacity to care for up to 35 children, ranging in age from 12 months to five years old.
Casa Montessori is housed in a property designed to reflect the Montessori principles, featuring high ceilings, natural light and the use of natural wood and materials.
The nursery was established by Carolina Pena and Olivier Huc in 2016 and has focused on building a child-centered learning environment, valuing diversity and promoting holistic development.
Following a confidential sales process run by Christie & Co’s Sophie Willcox, Casa Montessori has now been acquired by first-time buyer, Enrique Carrillo for an undisclosed price.
The deal sees Carrillo enter the sector for the first time, with the buyer stating that he would seek to build upon the previous owners’ knowledge and experience.
Commenting on the sale process, Sophie Willcox, Director – Childcare & Education at Christie & Co, said: “We received a lot of interest in Casa Montessori from both first-time buyers and existing operators. I wish Enrique and all the luck with his first nursery, and I am glad to have supported Carolina and Olivier with their sale.”
