Two established city centre hotels in the North of England have been brought to market, in what property agents involved in the sale have described as a rare opportunity.
Freehold offers in excess of £4.5 million are being sought for the Kabannas Liverpool, while leasehold offers in excess of £3 million are being sought for the Kabannas Newcastle . The hotels are available either individually or as a package.
Situated on Mathew Street in Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter, Kabannas Liverpool offers 216 beds across an array of flexible rooms. The 48-bedroom hotel has recently undergone a significant refurbishment, upgrading its rooms and food and beverage areas.
In addition to its accommodation, food and beverage offering, the hotel also offers a range of social activities, including a private karaoke room and various game facilities.
Kabannas Newcastle is a 52-bedroom hybrid hotel, offering 233 bed spaces, along with food and beverage facilities. The hotel, which has also recently been refurbished, is situated in a prime city centre location on Carliol Street, within walking distance of Newcastle’s cultural attractions.
Commenting on the opportunity, one of the agents managing the sale said: “We are delighted to be instructed to market two superb hotel properties in Liverpool and Newcastle city centres, they are very well established businesses and are for sale as going concerns.
“They do however offer alternative uses that should be of interest to a potential purchaser. The opportunity to purchase a good-sized property in either Liverpool or Newcastle city centre rarely becomes available so we are anticipating significant demand”.
