Wed, 25 Feb 2026 | MERGER
Totalmobile, a Belfast-based field service management software firm, is set to merge with German counterpart Solvares Group in a deal that creates a leading international provider of field service and workforce optimisation technology.
Following the transaction, the combined business will employ more than 800 people and serve over 4,000 customers across the UK, Europe and Australasia. Its customer base will span companies relying on field workforces for essential services in sectors such as facility management, health and social care, housing, telecommunications, engineering, IT, logistics and infrastructure.
The merger comes following the December 2024 investment in Solvares by Five Arrows and funds advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG) and the subsequent completion of the acquisition of Totalmobile by Five Arrows and funds advised by DBAG, following regulatory approval. The merger was backed by Five Arrows, the alternative assets arm of Rothschild & Co, and funds advised by DBAG.
Phil Race, Chief Executive of Totalmobile, (pictured above) commented: "This is a defining moment for Totalmobile and an important step in building a business with global scale, experience and depth in field service management software.”
"Field operations are becoming more complex, service expectations continue to rise, and organisations need technology that connects planning through to execution in a practical way.”
Race added that the deal brings together two companies with similar cultures and would strengthen the offering they can provide for customers.
Solvares Group Chief Executive Ivan Bagaric said: "The combination of Solvares and Totalmobile marks a transformative moment for both businesses and the international field service software landscape.”
"Over decades Solvares has built world leading algorithms and products to optimise and plan resources. Together with Totalmobile we have a shared culture to drive innovation, product quality and customer success. This combination deepens our domain expertise and broadens the capabilities we can offer customers across planning, optimisation and field execution."
In the year to December 31 2024, Totalmobile Limited reported turnover of around £33.5 million, up from £25.6 million the previous year, but saw operating losses widen from approximately £875,000 to £2.7 million.
