Two law firms based in Yorkshire have announced a strategic merger described as marking a new phase of "growth, innovation and impact" for both businesses. The deal sees Halifax-based Han Law Co and Scarborough-based Inspire Legal Group join forces under the Inspire Legal banner.
As part of the deal, Han Law Co founder Hannah Strawbridge (pictured above, right, with Natalie Foster, left) will take on a key leadership role at the expanded Inspire Legal Group, serving as the company’s Head of Legal, as well as becoming a shareholder and joining the group’s Board of Directors.
In this capacity, Strawbridge will work alongside Natalie Foster, founder and CEO of Inspire Legal Group, and partner Bill Tilley.
Post-merger, the newly expanded team of lawyers across the enlarged business will continue to operate remotely, offering ILG clients support across a wide array of legal services, including residential property, disability & discrimination, employment law & HR, litigation and commercial & corporate law.
In addition, a dedicated client services team will operate from the company’s headquarters in Scarborough.
