Tue, 02 Jun 2009: Gowrings Mobility Limited has hired accountancy group Smith & Williamson to act as administrators after experiencing financial problems. The business, which makes special vehicles for the disabled, has over 120 employees. Gowrings has fallen into financial difficulty despite last year's turnover of £19.5m. The administrators will continue to trade the business while looking for potential buyers. Gowrings supplies its vehicles to disabled people under the national government Motability Scheme, which gives funds for the purchase of a car, scooter or power...
