A Chesterfield-based waste management company that fell into administration earlier this month has been put up for sale, saving 11 jobs.
Administrators appointed to Re-Use Sales, a waste management and skip hire business, say they haven’t made any redundancies at the firm and are actively seeking a buyer, according to the Business Desk.
Re-Use Sales, based in Clay Cross, operates across Derbyshire and south Yorkshire and has been trading for more than 20 years. It's services include: skip hire, grab hire, waste management and recycling.
Christopher Brown of administrators Hart Shaw said: “The directors reacted quickly following the issue of a winding up petition by HM Revenue & Customs and sought expert professional advice.
“The administrators are continuing to trade the business whilst it is marketed for sale.”
The firm’s last submitted accounts, in December 2015, show that Re-Use Sales had creditors amounting to £283,810 as of 31 March 2015, whilst it was owed £144,626.
