A Bristol-based construction firm has collapsed into administration, leaving the future of its projects uncertain.
Helm Construction, located near Severn Beach and established by Gary Sheppard in 2014, entered administration on December 3, 2018.
Opus Restructuring LLP have been called in to oversee the administration process, with partners Steven John Parker and Trevor John Binyon appointed as joint administrators.
The company announced the news of its administration on its website, stating that “The business and assets of the company are now managed by the administrators.
“Please note that the administrators are agents of the company and act without personal liability.”
The future of incomplete projects is presently unknown, and the company directors have declined to comment on the administration process.
In the past, Helm Construction has worked on numerous projects across the city, including on the renovation of St Luke’s Hall, which was an old commercial office establishment, a nursery in Southville, and on Clifton’s Bridge House Apartments.
The company also delivered on the construction of three townhouses in Kingswood and on the building of apartments in Wells Road in Bristol city centre.
As of a year ago, Helm Construction had a turnover of more than £15 million with at least 50 employees to its name. Since its establishment, the company grew in popularity after working on both commercial, residential and domestic projects across the southwest of England.
