Insurance services group Jensten has acquired the business and assets of White Rose Insurance Solutions, an insurance broker based in Yorkshire. White Rose has offices in Skipton and Settle and also has an office in Kendal, where it trades as South Lakes Insurance Solutions.
White Rose works with an array of private and commercial clients across North Yorkshire and further expands Jensten’s presence in Yorkshire, adding to its existing offices in Bradford and Leeds. Jensten boosted its Yorkshire presence last year with its acquisition of Ravenhall Risk Solutions.
That acquisition saw Ravenhall’s Managing Director Neil Grimshaw become Jensten’s Regional Managing Director. Following the latest acquisition, White Rose Managing Director Andy Gould will report to Grimshaw. The acquisition reflects Jensten’s strategy of targeting brokers who are considering a sale and businesses that help it to grow regional centres in key locations.
Neil Grimshaw, who said that the deal gives Jensten “the foundations for growth in North Yorkshire”, commented: “White Rose is a well-regarded broker whose commitment to servicing customers to the highest possible standard is clear throughout the business. As such they are the perfect fit for our growing region.”

White Rose Managing Director Andy Gould, meanwhile, said that it was clear from early conversations that joining Jensten was “the right route” for the firm going forward. Having shared values is really important to us and provides a great foundation for future growth and development."
